My family and I live in Powell Butte.  I attend Crook County Middle School where I am in the 8th grade
and proud to be in leadership and honor society.  I am also very active in the horse and beef 4-H
program.  I am a junior leader for the Buckles and Boots Ranch Horse 4-H club that I belong to.
I am the president for both beef and horse clubs.  My goal for my future is to continue thru school on
the pathway to college to become a veterinarian.  I have a passion for all animals (big and small).

I got my first horse when I was 8 years old.  She showed me the ropes and we did so great together.
She is now retired at the age of 33 and I now have a 5 year old registered paint gelding.   His name
is Chico and he is my best bud.  I have had him for 2 years now and have learned so much more with
him.  It has been a wonderful challenge to be able to take such a young horse and work with him to
make him the horse that he is today.  We have both grown so much and have so much more coming
our way.

Chico and I are very proud to represent the Central Oregon Paint Horse Club for this 2009 year.
We will work hard at all that we do while having a wonderful time doing it

2009 CENTRAL OREGON PAINT HORSE CLUB

QUEEN BRITTNEY HEBER

Brittney participated in the Sisters Parade and did great.  She used her horse for the parade and then used her friend's mom's paint horse for the run ins.  She did great.  It was a proud moment for her dad and mom to see her after the run ins signing her pictures for the little kids!  She had the biggest smile on her face and they were just swarming her at one point!  One little girl turned to her mom and said that Brittney was her favorite out of all of the Queens.  There was probably between 24-30 queens/princesses there at Sisters!  So we are all very proud of her.  She was shining all thru the weekend.

This weekend she will be at the Crooked River Round Up and then for the 4th of July will be out at the Frontier Days in LaPine.

These are pictures taken by a family friend recently.   They will be on the web site in a few days.  What a great job Brittney is doing for us.
